6 Major habits to live a healthy Lifestyle
Healthy Lifestyle isn’t just about healthy eating and exercise – it also includes having a positive mental health, healthy self-image and a healthy lifestyle. Our physiological state contribute a lot for our mental state. So you should implement following habits to live a healthy lifestyle:
1 – Get good sleep
Lack of sleep causes premature aging & restlessness which we compensate by eating more usually junk food. So always try to have enough sleep to keep you fresh. Its very old saying “Early to bed, early to rise…Healthy, Wealthy & Wise”.
2 – Do exercise regularly
Doing regular exercise brings lot of benefits to our health, including longer life span, lowering of risk of diseases & weight loss. Being in motion is life so increase your daily physical activities like prefer walking over transport for close distances, climb stairs instead of taking lift.
3 – Do meditate regularly
Our Mind & soul are equally important as our body to live a healthy lifestyle. Imagine your body as a room. Every day, there is lots of junk that gets piled into yourself – your mind, body, heart and soul. These junk come in the form of negative thoughts, emotions and energy. You become a living trash container with junk thoughts and emotions. During meditation, you clear all these junk out of your system, just like you cleaning out your room. You expel the negativity and return it to the earth to be converted into positive energy.
4 – Drink more water
Water is essential for our body to function – Our body is made up of over 60% of water. Water is needed to carry out our body functions, remove waste and carry nutrients and oxygen around our body. Since we lose water every day through urine, perspiration and breathing, we need to replenish our water intake. You should take atleast 2-4 liters of water a day to keep you healthy.
5 – Eat small meals
Prefer several small meals over a few big meals a day. It balance out your energy distribution throughout the day. Also it will keep your digestive system active & healthy.
6 – Love yourself
Love is a deep appreciation. Loving yourself means having a deep appreciation for who you are. You should accept all the different parts of yourself – your little peculiarities, the embarrassments, the things you may not do so well, and all the wonderful qualities, too.
When you will start to love yourself more each day, it’s amazingly your life will get better.
